Kazes, DMDGeneral Dentist
Biography
Dr. Kazes earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Fordham University and her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Adrina DeVitre was her mentor in dental school, generously guiding her throughout her educational journey. During dental school, Dr. Kazes earned the American Association of Oral Biologists Award, The Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities Student Award, and was a three-time recipient of the Chigas Scholarship Award. She participated in research, and was a finalist in the DENTSPLY/Caulk Competition for her presentation at the AADR conference in 2014.
In 2014, Dr. Kazes enrolled in a General Practice Residency Program at Tufts. She was selected as chief resident and continued her residency education for a second year. During this time, Dr. Kazes was able to gain experience in complex dental care. She completed the Tufts Special Care Fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry and a Geriatric Fellowship.
Dr. Kazes worked as an Assistant Professor at Tufts in the Advanced General Dentistry Program for ten years. In addition to her faculty practice, she provided mentorship and clinical supervision to residents in the General Practice Residency and Advanced Education in General Dentistry programs.
Dr. Kazes lives in the Boston area with her husband. They like to spend their time with family, traveling and trying new restaurants. Dr. Kazes is honored to become a part of a phenomenal team at Hingham Dentistry. She prides herself on treating all patients with respect and compassion.
